1. Dashboard & Reports

The school leader dashboard displays all staff members and their roles as well as key reports and the school calendar. There are two built-in reports—standards alignment and fidelity—that display how well myCore is being implemented (i.e., fidelity) and the degree to which standards have been used in plans according to either benchmark or pacing guide dates (i.e., standards alignment report). School leaders can also add dates to the school calendar that will be available to help teachers pace their lesson plans.

 

 

2. Adding Staff Members

There are two ways to add staff members in myCore. The first method is through manual entry and the second through a CSV upload. The former method works best for single entries and the latter for multiple entries.

 

Manual Method:

1. Click “Add a Staff Member”

2. Enter the required fields (Email, First Name, Last Name)

3. Determine if this person will be a coach or not and mark the appropriate circle

4. Click “Save”

 

CSV Method:

1. Click “Add a Staff Member”

2. Click “Upload Staff From CSV”

3. If you need an example of the required information, download a sample file or show the available fields by clicking on the corresponding hyperlinks

4. Enter the required fields to create a new myCore account for each new staff member and save your document as a comma-separated values (CSV) file

5. Find your saved file by clicking on “Browse…”

6. Click “Upload”

 

 

3. Managing Coaches

Starting from the school administrator dashboard, you can view the coaching assignments to the right and below your profile picture. Click on the “manage coaches” blue link. From here you can view all current coaches and can change the teachers assigned to them with a few clicks on the hyperlinks to the right. Click the green button at the top to assign a new teacher to a coach or use the reassign feature to change one or more at the same time. Note that the principal is set as the default coach.
